On two Saturdays in October 2022, restaurants in the neighbourhood will open their doors to offer a variety of food and make a statement against packaging waste. In addition to tasting appetisers and drinks, you can learn more about the food, spices and stories of the restaurants. Maybe your new favourite restaurant will be among them?

In addition to the culinary diversity in the neighbourhood, another focus of the tour is the topic of sustainability in gastronomy. The participating establishments will show their visitors how reusable packaging can reduce the amount of waste in public spaces. Therefore: be sure to bring reusable containers (reusable box and cups) for tasting food and drinks, as we don’t want to leave any plastic waste in the neighbourhood!

On 15 October, the tour will be in and around Gotzkowskystraße, and on 22 October, the Arminius Market Hall will be explored. The tours start at 3 p.m. each day, last about three hours and are free of charge. They are organised by the project “Mehrweg statt Einweg – Müllreduzierung im Lebendigen Zentrum Turmstraße” and the Geschäftsstraßenmanagement Turmstraße.

To register, please send your name and preferred date to this e-mail address: gsm@turmstrasse.de. The tour will be held in German.
