Are you bothered by the full garbage bins in Ottopark and the disposable packaging flying around on the street? Would you like to contribute something to environmental protection and the neighborhood with your company?
Then the “Moabit Mehrweg Challenge” is definitely interesting for you!
What is it about? Small and medium-sized companies will be lent a “reusable crate” for their tea kitchen free of charge for the Challenge from April to June 2023. The “reusable crate” is filled to the brim with different reusable containers for take-away lunch and coffee-to-go. Your task will be to pick up reusable food and drinks as often as possible during the Challenge and enjoy them at picnics, on the trail or in the break room. In this way, you can easily test how easy it is to eat in reusable containers in practice. At the same time, you motivate your colleagues to do the same!
In addition, you avoid littering in the neighborhood, reduce marine litter, conserve valuable resources, and at the same time do something good for the climate and for sustainability in your company! If your team manages to win the Challenge, the crate will be given to the business free of charge.
Together with the gastronomy and the other participating businesses, you will make reusable the new normal in the Turmstraßen-Kiez!
