Reusable systems

There are now several established deposit- and app-based pool systems in Germany that can be easily integrated into your business. By using pool systems, you make a significant contribution to environmental protection while also saving money in the purchase of disposable products and through lower costs due to waste. Last but not least, you secure a competitive advantage through a sustainable, innovative image and ensure successful customer loyalty. Nine out of ten respondents would be willing to pay a deposit of 5 or 10 euros for a functioning pool system. Decide which system is right for you, and we will support you in implementing it!

RECUP

  • The restaurant rents reusable cups from Recup for a €1 deposit.
  • Customers borrow the cup for a €1 deposit (lid can be purchased); digital lending via credit will soon be possible as well.
  • Used cups are returned to all participating businesses and washed there.
  • The catering establishment pays a monthly fee, e.g. €31; integrated into REBOWL partnership
  • Available: Cups (200 ml, 300 ml, 400 ml).

REBOWL 

  • The catering business rents reusable containers from Rebowl for a deposit.
  • Customers rent the container for a €5 deposit; digital lending with credit will soon also be possible.
  • Used containers are returned to all participating businesses and rinsed there.
  • The catering establishment pays a system fee of 31 € (for a contract period of 1 year) and deposit fees (3-month test phase without system fee); integrated into RECUP partnership
  • Available containers: 1,200 ml; in planning: 600 ml, containers with subdivision (580 ml and 450 ml)

Tiffin Loop

  • The catering business rents stainless steel containers from Tiffin Loop for a deposit of 15 €.
  • The customers borrow the container for a deposit of 15 €.
  • Used containers are returned to all participating businesses and rinsed there.
  • The catering business pays a monthly system fee of €19.95 net.
  • From June 2021: catering business pays only 25 ct. per use; customers borrow the bin digitally without deposit; only payment of €20 if not returned after 14 days
  • Available: Container with or without subdivision (1,200 ml).

reCIRCLE

  • The catering business rents reusable containers from reCIRCLE for a deposit of €10 gross (first 3 months deposit-free).
  • The customers borrow the container for a deposit of 10 €; reusable cutlery can also be taken along.
  • Used containers are returned to all participating businesses and washed there.
  • The catering establishment pays a fee of 13.5 ct. / use as well as shipping costs
  • Available: Menu plate (900 ml), containers without subdivision (600 ml, 1050 ml), containers with subdivision (340 + 250 ml), cups (90 ml, 300 ml, 500 ml). In the future: ISY-Cup for smoothies, soups, coffee, …

VYTAL

  • The catering business rents reusable containers and cups from vytal and downloads an app for use.
  • The customers borrow the container/cup via the app, in which they have stored their payment data, using a QR code; alternatively, buy a rental card for €10 and borrow up to 2 containers.
  • Only if the container/cup is not returned after 14 days, customers will be deducted €10
  • Used containers/cups are returned to all participating businesses or to a return box at the employer’s and cleaned at the catering business.
  • The catering establishment pays a €100 set-up fee and a 15-20 ct. fee per use
  • Available: Container (500 ml, 750 ml, 1,250 ml), container with subdivision (1,000 ml), sushi pack (500 ml), pizza packaging, cup (350 ml).

Relevo

  • The catering business rents reusable containers and cups from Relevo.
  • Customers rent the container/cup via an app in which they have entered their account details, using a QR code.
  • Only if the container/cup is not returned after 14 days, customers will be deducted €5
  • Used containers/cups will be returned to all participating establishments and rinsed there.
  • The catering establishment pays between 20 ct. (container) and 10 ct. (cup) per use (4 weeks trial period free of charge)
  • Available: Container (800 ml, 1,100 ml), cup with lid (300 ml, 400 ml); in planning: bowl with subdivision

eatTAINABLE

  • The catering business buys a reusable system with stainless steel containers with QR code or QR codes are attached to existing containers for tracking.
  • The customers borrow the container against individual conditions (e.g. deposit).
  • Used containers are returned to the same business and rinsed there
  • The catering business pays a set-up fee, a monthly system fee and, if applicable, the procurement of the bins and the set-up for the QR codes
  • Available: Numerous container shapes according to GN standard

 

FairCup

  • The restaurant rents returnable cups from Faircup against a deposit (cup and lid).
  • The customers borrow cups and lids for a deposit of 1.50 €.
  • Used cups are returned at all participating businesses or at conventional, activated deposit machines.
  • The catering business pays a monthly system fee of €15 per outlet (for a contract period of 1 year)
  • Available: Cups (200 ml, 300 ml, 400 ml, 500 ml) in 10 colors, 2 lid shapes in 3 colors

FairCup Pro

  • Extension of FairCup – In addition to FairCup, the catering business also lends the Fairbox against a deposit (bowl, lid, partition).
  • The customers borrow the container and lid/partition against a deposit of 4 €.
  • Used containers are returned at all participating businesses or at conventional, activated deposit machines.
  • The catering establishment pays a system fee of €31 (for a contract period of 1 year)
  • Available: Containers (500 ml, 1,000 ml) in two colours (transparent, black)
